well.. somtimes its hard not to believe things.. I remember Kangaroo from Horton saying "If you can't see it, you can't hear it, it doesn't exist".. well.. this phrase doesn't apply to me.. Went to supper with my managers Mervix and Serene.. ate and watched some retro old channel 8 (where those male actors still has those center partings and curry pok) show, we decided to head home at 3+ am.. after accompanying my managers for their cab, I started the journey home on m bicycle.. have no rear lights, i decided to move up on the pavement when i hear a car (should be Zng before de, the sound of the car sounds like Takumi's AE86) approaching from the back.. Spotting a pedestrain crossing, i decided to move up.. leaning into the corner, just as I thought I made the turn, my rear wheel shifted violently and i crashed head on onto the pavement.. The CONCRETE ROUGH SUPER JAGGED PAVEMENT!!!

Outcome (Bicycle): Left gear broke (shattered seems to be more accurate), front wheel bent, left pedal dropped..

Outcome (Cyclist): 1cm length cut on left knee, bloody right toe due to torn nail, and thats it..

Analysis of crash: left pedal struck pavement creating drag, center of gravity of back wheel changed to right due to drag on left, front wheel shifted to left due to left shifting backwheel, off balanced, crashed.. left pedal received most of impact-drop off as a result, jagged pavement shattered left gear, weight of down falling cyclist pressed on bicycle and dented front wheel..

Cause: Unknown

Justification: I am so positively sure that i cleared the pavement.. My rear wheel shifted suddenly when i entered the corner and its impossible.. worse: the car passed the possible spot of me if i hadn't decided to change to the pavement.. 50 kg on a jagged pavement and all i received were a cut, a "hangnail ", and a shakened body... sounds supernatural? Yeah.. I'm lucky.

Almost busted my head today.. some smart aleck placed a cup on top of the locker and when i retrieved my bag, the cup fell and missed me by 3.23429487123854cm... close shave... BUT, Da Nan Bu Si Bi You Hou Fu.. so i guess i'll be fine.. ok.. i admit, i'm trying to convince myself.. OFF DAY!!!! time to bust some adenosines... had all my activities planned for the next day.. 1 word: Sleep.. ok.. and to cut hair.. the feeling of having hair in my eye totally irritates me to the core...

Nothing much happened these few days.. except that I feel that I should tune down slightly.. at this rate that i'm going, i'm bound to offend some people unintentionally.. I mean, nobody would like to take orders from a Grunschnabel.. But what to do? thats my style... however, it is impossible for people to change for you.. If the mountain doesn't go to Muhammed, then Muhammed must go to the mountain..

Start off today's blog entry with a question: If you saved $0.10 on the 1st day of the month and subsequently saved the double of the amount saved the previous day, how much would you have saved up at the end of 1 month? My suggestion, just make a wild guess unless you can quickly establish a general formula involving Binomial Theorem, Quadratic and Exponential Growth.

In Candy Bar liao.. haha.. meaning its back to the usual routine in McDonalds.. Made a TERRIBLE mistake yesterday.. A patron asked for a nachos combo.. Suddenly, my McDonalds instincts kicked in.. "Upsize?" I asked.. LOL!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???!!! omg la... i'm like, so stunned at the word.. lol.. Mervix (my manager) was like giving me the "wtf" look.. Well.. It all ended in a good laugh..

Btw, the answer (calculated) is actually $161,061,273.60

Inspirational

Heya.. visited a friend's blog today and stumbled upon a very nice song.. with the kind help of Google, i managed to find out the title of the song.. (just listen out for 1 sentence of the lyrics and google it).. The title is "Cry on my Shoulder".. yeah i know, sounds old fashioned but its nice.. as a result, i uploaded it onto my blog to share with you pple.. with the kind help of Youtube, i realised that this song is actually sang by the Top 10 Finalists of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, DSDS for short.. That's the German equivalent of American Idol.. I guess if the lyrics in the chorus of the song is said to a really down girl, the girl will definitely melt.. =P

But if you wanna cry, cry on my shoulders.
If you need someone who cares for you
If you're feeling sad, your heart gets colder
Yes I show you what real love can do -Chorus lyrics from Cry on my Shoulders

The 4 sentences to totally melt the heart of a loved one.

Thanks Google again for showing all the links to DSDS.. I stumbled by accident (I Swear it's true!!!) on another song by DSDS.. Title's: We have a Dream.. It almost moved me to tears.. It's really highly inspirational and the melody coincides with the song perfectly by constantly raising to higher keys and superb use of the voices of females to add tension and feelings.. all in all, a song well done..

We have a Dream. Music is our lives.
We have a Hope. Music will survive.
We'll take the chance. We had it all.
We feel like heroes. We're standing tall -Chorus lyrics from We have a Dream

Simple 4 phrases in a stanza with immense meaning, highly inspirational.

The powerful voices of the Top 10s really impressed me.

Tiring day.. met a few funny customers.. like one who wanted to watch Incredible Hulk and got too excited and requested for Incredible Cock.. LOL.. That had me in siezures of laughter.. lol.. The popper CAUGHT FIRE!!!!!~~ due to a faulty thermostat that caused the kettle to be unable to control its temperature and keep rising.. end result: Genting Highlands... with a burning smell..

saw an entry in a book.. a book by Robert Kiyosaki... he mentioned about the fact that people spend half of their lives trying to climb the corporate ladder through both scrupulous and unscrupulous means.. he stated the types of actons people resort to and being a business owner, one would have to be able to recognise these actions and differentiate them.. well.. that set me thinking for the whole day.. (fyi: i read that in the morning)

Why must people spend their lives climbing the corporate ladder? Why don't i OWN the ladder? i mean that makes more sense.. i wouldn't want to be the one resorting to these means.. i would want to be the one RECOGNISING these means.. well.. at least there's something to occupy my mind for the upcoming OFF DAY!!!~~~

Finally

Finally.. After months of struggling, thousandrous (i know there's no such word but i just made it up) excuses, i finally got a blog.. As it would apply to things such as keeping pets: it's easy to aquire but hard to maintain.. i hope that i would be able to maintain and keep this blog going.. this blog is initially intended to be a chest of souls for my daily soul searching.. though i still like the practice of staring at the celing and thinking through the day or making long walks in the night to reflect.. this blog would (i hope) be an alternate source of reflection..

okok.. i own up.. mental block at 3.18am.. dunno what to pen (well, not exactly...) down.. so i'll just leave it at that and check back every 2 days(?), perhaps?

Well, the future's uncertain.. whatever will be, will be..

Que sera sera..
